A followup to my video. Wood cutting boards are the safest for a healthy home. I know of a 2 year old who was diagnosed with Salmonella infection in an ankle. The debate has hovered over which type of cutting board one should use to cut up a raw chicken, starting when the USDA recommended plastic, with no science to back their claim (Sound familiar for a Federal gov't agency?). Cutting boards aside, I believe the farm the chicken comes from is probably more important than the type of cutting board used to cut up the chicken in the prevention of Salmonella infection. Our veterans may be the only ones who have had the experience. Though after the recent hurricanes here on Clearwater Beach the National Guard visited our neighborhood and handed out MREs. Watch this short video if you have never seen an MRE and are curious about the ingredients. And if you have eaten MREs as a veteran on a war front, enjoy a burger or a hot dog on the grill instead!
Be aware of what you put on your skin. Especially if it is a chemical that increases skin absorption of harmful chemicals. Found in cosmetics and on disposable razors. And learn a better way. Old school, traditional approaches are often safer, less expensive, and less toxic to the environment.

George Washington was born in Virginia on February 11, 1731, according to the then-used Julian calendar. In 1752, however, Britain and all its colonies adopted the Gregorian calendar which moved Washington's birthday a year and 11 days to February 22, 1732.
