Passover and Easter coincided this year. Most people are familiar with Easter but not as familiar with Passover, the celebration of the Exodus of Israel from Egypt. Commemerating the night that the Angel of Death passed over those who had the lamb's blood painted on their dwelling's door lintel. Those that didn't lost their 1st born son. The last of the 10 plagues. This video is mostly for family and friends who attended, but anyone can experience a Jewish home welcoming in the Passover Sabbath by joining us here, on this special night. After all, without tradition, our lives would be as shaky as... a fiddler on a roof!

Our veterans may be the only ones who have had the experience. Though after the recent hurricanes here on Clearwater Beach the National Guard visited our neighborhood and handed out MREs. George Washington was born in Virginia on February 11, 1731, according to the then-used Julian calendar. In 1752, however, Britain and all its colonies adopted the Gregorian calendar which moved Washington's birthday a year and 11 days to February 22, 1732.
