Most people don't realize that inflation is biggest Federal government tax on the common man, used to enrich the elite, and ultimately to destroy our country. The Federal government would never get away with taxing our citizens directly to fund their outlandish spending, including "rescuing" large banks, insurance companies, and other large corporations. Or subsidizing industrial agriculture, thereby driving out the small farmers. They would be voted out of office.
Here is a brief history of the cause of inflation (the so called "Central Bank," a.k.a the Federal Reserve). A few of our country's leaders (including a hero in the history of Central Banking, President Andrew Jackson - the only President who successfully ended the then current central bank in the USA) stood up to the elite. Some of those heroes likely paid for it with their lives, including Abraham Lincoln. Others had assassination attempts on their lives.
There is a simple way to take the financial power from the elite few and return that power to the working people. End the Federal Reserve Banking System and (as Mr. Putin has done) return our country to the gold standard. And keep the USA out of foreign wars. Any Presidential or Congressional candidate who says otherwise is controlled by the elite.
